New York smells homesickeningly good


And then there's a lot of this - I don't know who does it (the doormen? residents?) or why (to compost? to discourage dogs? the sheer aesthetic?)

To compost for sure! I'm a litter-nazi yet I always tuck my banana peels and apple cores into bushes, especially with Calgary being susceptible to desertification. I tried to object when Mom asked me to pick up all the pine cones under the tress but alas, she's immovable.

Saskatoon's sidewalks are covered in several inches/feet of snow and ice.

I'm easier to move than I was this summer.
