First Saturday of the month, admission is free at the Brooklyn Museum, and there is music and drinks. So that is what I brought Kate to, on her first night in town. Also, a lovely young man and I managed to reenact this scene. I am still giggling about it on the subway.

Baaahahahahahhaa! Damn you for getting all the attention! Todd - how much did you pay him? That was so great.
so um, did you awkwardly learn a dance move from some dude? or, uh end up being a minorty in an otherwise ethnically homogeneous bar? Or were you caught pretending a ball of fabric on the nape of your neck was actually a bun? Bonk heads?!!
I'm not sure what part of that scene was reenacted. Either way, it was ppbly awesome.
I moved here in 2006 to do my PhD in philosophy. This blog is my letters back home to Canada about what life is like in New York.
